About Cuckmans

Cuckmans is a substantial newly built Victorian style home with a total of 8,500 sq. ft, 3,500 sq. ft. on the ground floor, 2,500 sq. ft. on the 1st floor and a further 2,500 sq. ft. on the 2nd floor.

Entrance - A large entrance opens into substantial pebbled area.

Externally - The house is built from a local heather brick with red string courses. The roof is black slate with a pattern created with heather slate.

The fascias and porch have some Victorian Gothic detailing. Overall the house has a large country house/rectory feel to it.

There is total access around the house, allowing for lighting and camera equipment (and even cherry pickers) to move around with ease.

Internally all the detailing has been carefully researched and is true to the Victorian period. Much of the materials used are reclaimed, giving an authentic feel to the house.

The internal layout lends itself to filming and photography. The rooms are large with wide access and good lighting. All the floors are laid to wood or limestone and offer a seamless flow throughout. We imagine this would allow for the smooth running of equipment.
